Private residence in Tampa Bay

This project was challenging in many ways. The original floor was unevenly saw cut on only 2/3 of the floor and was painted light gray with a silica based paint and finished with a water based sealer. The new owner wanted a sandstone color to bring out the tone of the woods both in the wood flooring and the cabinets. She also wanted to take up the carpet and continue the scoring to finish the look and achieve a larger feel in the total space. A tall order for what we had to work with but the outcome was better than expected and the owner is delighted with the results.

A plain walk and entry way become the focal point of the exterior with a custom stained walk and grand entry with engraved steps and landing. The idea of the design was taken from the interior tile entry. The homeowner desired a unique look that would give the guests an idea of the what was to come prior to coming into the home. Great look for today's high end style!
